The Senior Management Consultant will be responsible for identifying potential large corporate and government clients, developing proposals on consultation with clients, designing and delivering programmes that address client needs, and establishing thought leadership in the space.

 

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop an effective management infrastructure for the enterprise business:

  1. Lead the development of business models, operating models, and strategies for the effective and efficient functioning of the company’s enterprise business

  2. Develop annual business plans

  3. Create and implement management processes for the enterprise business

  4. Attract, develop, excite, and retain exceptional talent for the business

  5. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members

 

  1. Establish and grow the enterprise business:

  1. Assume leadership of the profit and loss for the enterprise business

  2. Drive brand-building efforts in support of developing enterprise clients, 

  3. Lead client development efforts with corporate, public sector, and SME organisations

  4. Counsel and consult clients on articulating and achieving their desired business outcomes leveraging the company’s offerings

  5. Oversee delivery of the company’s offerings to enterprise clients

  6. Monitor the digital talent landscape and take proactive steps to ensure the company’s continued relevance in relation to the enterprise business

  7. Develop an approach and manage system for placement of graduates with partner organisations.

 

  1. Support growth of the company’s other areas of business:

  1. Support the development of strategies and the execution of aforementioned strategies to grow the company’s other areas of business, 

  2. Identify partnership opportunities and support the developing of partnerships with external stakeholders to further the company’s business goals.

 

Skills and Qualification of an Ideal Candidate:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is an advantage

  • At least 5 years of experience in consultative enterprise sales, ideally in management consulting, HR consulting, or digital consulting

  • Expertise in talent development and/or digital

  • Entrepreneurial with strong commercial/ business sense

  • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at C-suite and other organisational levels

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in leading teams – excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
