The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for customer acquisition, maximising sales potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to ensure that the overall student recruitment targets are met.

  • Focus on winning business from new clients through self-generated leads and prospects developed through social media, cold-calling and partnerships. 

  • Manage a complex lead and opportunity pipeline to meet and exceed targets. 

  • Analyse data and develop sales strategies to grow new markets.

  • Co-ordinate and refine admissions processes, working with the team to ensure systems and processes are in place to provide timely, personalised responses to all admissions enquires.

  • Track trends in admissions for the purposes of both effective forecasting and future planning 

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts.

  • Work with the marketing team to enhance marketing strategy to amplify brand and nurture interest.



Skills and Qualification of an Ideal Candidate:

 

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field

  • At least 4-5 years in sales or related fields. Preferably from a start-up background in a digital environment.

  • Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise

  • Experience in lead/sales funnel management

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

  • Strong analytical and writing skills. You are comfortable with data and analytics, and you can clearly communicate your results and ideas.
