The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for customer acquisition, maximising sales potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to ensure that the overall student recruitment targets are met.
Focus on winning business from new clients through self-generated leads and prospects developed through social media, cold-calling and partnerships.
Manage a complex lead and opportunity pipeline to meet and exceed targets.
Analyse data and develop sales strategies to grow new markets.
Co-ordinate and refine admissions processes, working with the team to ensure systems and processes are in place to provide timely, personalised responses to all admissions enquires.
Track trends in admissions for the purposes of both effective forecasting and future planning
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts.
Work with the marketing team to enhance marketing strategy to amplify brand and nurture interest.
Skills and Qualification of an Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in any field
At least 4-5 years in sales or related fields. Preferably from a start-up background in a digital environment.
Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Experience in lead/sales funnel management
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
Strong analytical and writing skills. You are comfortable with data and analytics, and you can clearly communicate your results and ideas.
